Amelia T. Gosnell
Tryon, NC

Amelia Thompson Gosnell, 86, of 80 Apple Tree Lane died May 1, 2007 at White Oak Manor in Tryon. A native of Polk County, she was the daughter of the late Floyd & Mae Edwards Thompson and wife of the late Leonard Otis Gosnell.

She was a member of Peniel Baptist Church and a homemaker.

She is survived by three sons, Dean Gosnell, Frank Gosnell and Bobby Gosnell and two daughters, Helen Mills and Jean Gosnell all of Tryon; a sister, Sophie Brigman of Spartanburg; 10 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by two brothers, Jake & Bill Thompson and two sisters Elizabeth Hicks & Pearl Gosnell.

The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00pm Friday at Beulah Baptist Church, Funeral services will follow at 2:00pm at the church conducted by Rev. John Parker.

Burial will be in the church cemetery.

The family is at the home of Helen Mills, 35 Apple Tree Lane, Tryon.
